How to find your dream apartment using virtual reality?

The Allto Cibulka project

"To make the decision-making process as easy as possible for our customers, selected apartments will now be available to view in virtual reality. Within the VR experience, users can easily swap flooring colours, tiles, door frames, and types of sanitary ware according to their preferences. This allows them to see firsthand exactly how their new home will look in a specific space," says Dana Bartoňová, Sales Director at YIT Stavo, adding:

"Furthermore, we plan to expand our property portfolio in this attractive Prague 5 location in the future. Nearby the new building, we will be converting the original Meopta industrial building to create highly sought-after loft-style living."

VR Parvi Cibulka

While virtual reality is primarily associated with entertainment and gaming, it has opened up immense possibilities within the real estate sector. Even before a project is built, potential buyers have the opportunity to get a clear picture of their future home, eliminating the risk of buying sight unseen.

Right in the YIT office, using specialized VR headsets, clients can walk through individual rooms in selected apartment types from the current Aalto Cibulka and Ranta Barrandov projects, as well as the upcoming Parvi Cibulka development. They can gain a true sense of the layout and room sizes, and even take in the views from the windows.

This virtual environment also allows them to customize the interior, switching between different flooring, doors, bathroom tiles, and sanitary ware. However, the experience doesn't stop at the front door: during the tour, users can also explore the surrounding area, including the lush green parks that encompass the projects.

"Such a service saves dozens of hours, but more importantly, it provides a crystal-clear vision of a home designed exactly to the client’s specifications. It is no wonder that virtual reality is becoming increasingly popular in real estate sales. At the recent For Habitat trade fair, visitors could experience it firsthand at our stand, and the level of interest was overwhelming," adds Dana Bartoňová.
