Smíchov City: A New Prague District Rising from a Brownfield – Showcase App

Architecture 30. 9. 2020

Sales kicked off with the help of our selection app, supported by stunning visuals, video content, and immersive VR.

As the largest project in Prague’s modern history, the Smíchov City master plan has received positive feedback even from UNESCO commissioners. They particularly appreciated that the new development does not interfere with the city's world heritage status. The first phase of construction, which features a predominantly residential focus, began in April 2020 in the northern part of the project. This lucrative location will offer apartments, offices, and a functional ground floor (parterre) with a growing range of services, restaurants, and shops, including a supermarket, across 55,000 m².

Smíchov is a traditional Prague district with a rich history. Now, this once-neglected area is being transformed into a vibrant new part of the metropolis, filled with homes, shops, offices, and public spaces. After fifteen years of preparation and permitting processes, the development company Sekyra Group, led by real estate tycoon Luděk Sekyra, has officially commenced construction on the Smíchov City project in the area surrounding Smíchov Station.

Marketing Empowerment

This extensive project is launching in collaboration with us. We have developed not only the selection appavailable here but also all visualisations, including marketing perspectives and aerial views of the entire development.

To provide a comprehensive overview, we have also created an interior virtual reality experience. This allows users to select specific apartment units across various floors and sections, offering an exact preview of the views—whether facing the street or the quiet inner courtyard. A key feature is the real-time material customisation (standards), enabling you to discover which combinations of door decors, wall tiles, and flooring suit your style best. You can watch a video of the VR interior here.
